I thought this book would be like the averae devotional book...my wife and I read it at the same time and she reall didn't like it but I loved it. She said that she can see where guys will really love it and the ladies would just think it's average. It was well written and definitely accomplished its mission; I found myself reading weeks at a time!
This book was a different take on the average devotional book that you might pick up. I liked the change of pace that it offered. The author took various readings from the Bible and included the story and then gave his refection on the Scripture and meaning of the story.
If you are tired of the same ol', same ol' then this is a book for you!
